To get the most out of your tyres they need to be aligned. A wheel alignment is usually performed after new tyres have been fitted or a tyre rotation has happened.

Wheel alignment is the procedure of aligning each tyre relative with one another and the centre line of the vehicle.

When should I get a wheel alignment?

There are many reasons when your vehicle will require a wheel alignment, including:

  • You have new tyres fitted
  • You lower or lift your vehicle
  • Suspension or steering component replacements or servicing
  • Curb scrub or you may have been involved in an accident
  • Tyre rotations
  • Your tyres are wearing unevenly or you have noticed damage

Beyond new tyres, it's a good idea to have your wheels aligned every 12 months. This will eliminate any premature wear or damage that your tyres might endure due to badly aligned wheels.

An out of aligned wheel can usually go unnoticed, causing your wheels to potentially vibrate through your steering components. Even the smallest measurements can prematurely wear your tyres or damage your running gear.
